Whole School Learning
Welcome to the second half of the summer term 2020. We have decided that to help the children's learning at home the curriculum would change to a whole school approach. This means that all learning, apart from English and Maths, would be the same for all the children- regardless of year group. The aim of this new design is to help parents with children across different years groups and to support the teachers in their ongoing home learning planning.
Our whole school topic is based around the the message from Pope Francis in 2015- Laudato Si. His message asked us to protect and care for our common home- God's Wonderful World.
CAFOD have some great resources for children that explain the Pope's message. Click here to watch a short film created by CAFOD.
The teachers have designed activities for all curriculum areas that relate to Our Wonderful World. Each week a new focus for each subject will be developed and published, with plenty of ideas to develop the children's knowledge, understanding and creativity across the curriculum.
We hope that you all enjoy our summer term topic and look forward sharing your learning.
