Week 6

Welcome back Year 3! I hope you've had a lovely half term. The weather has continued to be glorious, although not for farmers! We've been for more walks and explorations. Hope you have been able to enjoy it too.

Our home learning is going to be a little bit different for this half term. Our Maths and English will still be put on the year 3 pages every day- but the rest of the curriculum is going to be part of a whole school topic. This topic will be God's Wonderful World. All the children in the school will be doing the same topic. The teachers have planned activities for you to choose each afternoon- so you could follow our normal timetable and pick an activity that interests you. This half term, we will be using The Romans topic as our basis for English, although there will be a heavy dose of history too, because its all about the Romans!

Maths White Rose is below - this week continuing with addition and subtraction. However, I will be providing an alternative that you might prefer doing, so hold off on the printing! I will do a daily link for the videos if you are struggling and need it taught to you as a reminder, otherwise you are consolidating learning that we have covered previously at school, and can have a break from the videos.

 Keep emailing me with some of the work that you will be doing at home. I love seeing your pictures and videos, and I hope it makes you feel proud sending them to me.
