Re write the story of The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch. You have a choice today, you can either retell the story by writing the story out. If you are doing it this way please use the writing pages below and set a 20-30 minute timer on your phone/computer. After the timer has gone off you may finish writing, don't worry if you haven't finished the whole story in that time, just try your best to write as much as possible. Please remember to include what happened at the beginning, middle and end of the story.
OR you can create a storyboard/ mini book to retell the story. I would like you to write in full sentences, remembering to talk about what happened at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of the story. You may choose to draw pictures above your sentences at the end.
Ask children to show times to the hour and half an hour on their clocks. Children should be reminded that the hour hand must go half way between the hours for half past.
