100 SECOND CHALLENGE NOW AT BOTTOM OF ATTACHMENTS. WHAT CAN YOU DO IN THAT TIME?

Good morning everyone :-) I'll see you at 8.45 for us to gather together.

The, please start today with your weekly arithmetic and time yourself.

9.15 Teams - Maths

Maths

True or False?

If I went shopping and spent £1.58, £3.45 and £2.91, I would have spent £7.94 altogether.

Then, for our learning today. How can we represent 100? How can we divide 100 equally?

WALT: Divide 100 into 2, 4, 5 and 10 equal parts

In today's lesson, we will be investigating 100 divided by 2, 4, 5 and 10. Please print off some blank 100 squares, as attached below, if at all possible, to bring along, and a pair of scissors, your maths squared exercise book, and a glue-stick. We will be investigating together. Afterwards, you can watch the white Rose video to extend your understanding further.

11am -English Teams.

English - Today we will follow instructions to mummify a tomato. CHANGE OF PLAN! Either follow the instructions below and mummify your tomato before the TEAMS session at 11, or mummify the tomato after the TEAMS session. Just thinking logistically, this will be easier than all doing it at the same time, and I expect you are excited about doing it!

In the Teams session at 11, you  can watch me mummify mine and we will then talk about writing instructions on how to do it. Your Task: Write instructions for mummifying a tomato. Try to include imperative verbs, adverbials of time and adverbs.

1.30 - Science Teams

Science - this week we are learning how to keep our teeth healthy. Your activity is to design a poster to remind and encourage your family members to look after their teeth and gums properly. You can draw or use the tooth superhero image on your poster if you like.
