Tuesday 19th May

Good morning Year 6,

I hope that you had a great Monday. The sun was shining and it was another beautiful day. Have you decided on what you will do for your special project yet? I have heard some great ideas, from football to films, pets to piano, music to model making, gaming to guinea pigs...I'm looking forward to hearing your great ideas!

Here are today's tasks -

Joe Wicks  click here, Mr Seuke fitness,  or a sporting/exercise activity of your choice.

Maths White Rose Maths video  click here  then complete lesson on multiplying decimals by integers, resources and answers  have been emailed.

Complete one arithmetic sheet and mark it yourself.

Spag Spotters worksheet, this can be done without printing and includes suggested answers (emailed)

Reading – Continue to update reading journal. Have they enjoyed anything new? Write about it in your reading journal. It is paired reading day, so could you read aloud to someone else, or listen to someone else read to you if you prefer?

In the afternoon, spend some time on your Home Learning Project. I hope you have chosen your subject and you are well underway with your research. You do not need to complete this project this week, you have half term week also if you need it.

Remember that I am expected to see your next piece of writing (your second piece of RE based extended writing, set on Wednesday 13th May) by this Wednesday. Thank you to those of you who have already sent me your work.

Have a great day today,

Mrs Holt x
