The Marathon
The London Marathon should have take place on Sunday 26th April and an amazing Year 5 parent was due to take part in this iconic event. On Sunday Mrs Hubbard and her daughter, started off a staff marathon for us, they each ran a mile -easy when you have been training for months. We then challenged the staff to run or walk a mile each, so that as a team we could complete a marathon. We finished our challenge last night with a very special person completing the very last leg- we crossed the finish line in record time, it shows what you can do when you work as a team.
Next week we would like each class to complete a marathon between them. The children can run, walk, scoot, hop or skip a mile and then send a picture to their teacher. Have fun!
