Safeguarding & Child Protection

Safeguarding is Everyone's Responsibility – Woodlands Nursery and Pre-School

The school takes the safeguarding of children very seriously. Parents with any concerns about a child’s welfare should bring these concerns to the schools' attention. This can be done by contacting the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Mr Tindall. If he is unavailable, then the deputy DSL's, Mrs O’Neil or Miss Hodson, should be contacted.

The school has two designated safeguarding governors -  Lisa Taylor & Linda Lake, who work closely alongside the DSL's and school staff.

If you would like to help in school and require a DBS check, please use the links and documents on the DBS page.
