Performing Arts

“A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person.

And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints….” Pope Benedict XVI, 2010

Performing Arts form a very important part of the curriculum offer for all children at Holy Family. Our creative curriculum provides frequent opportunities for drama, role-play, debates, interviews and presentations.

All our children have the opportunity to get on the stage to perform every year from Reception Class onwards. We believe in the development of the whole child and expressing our God-given talents for the benefit of others. The performing arts provide children with the chance to:

  • express and develop their talents,
  • work hard towards personal and collective targets,
  • learn more about teamwork,
  • develop leadership skills,
  • build resilience by overcome obstacles and barriers
  • enhance self-esteem and confidence
  • enhance a sense of pride in themselves and their peers
