Isle of Wight 2019

We are already looking forward to our residential trip to the Isle of Wight. On this page you will find important information about the trip.

Sunday 2nd June

Well, here we go again...it's almost Isle of Wight 2019 time!

This is the page where you can read about all the bizarre, incredible and side-splitting adventures undertaken by Year 6 on their big trip. As always, whatever happens, whatever golden nugget comments or thoughts are shared, I will be there to capture the moment so you can all share in the fun and learning occurring during this great week.

As with previous years, I have absolutely no idea what I will be writing about and in which directions the blog may meander along the way but hopefully it will find its course and keep you all updated and a little entertained along the way.

The first bit of good news is that the weather forecast appears to be relatively positive at this stage. It looks a little breezy at times but we should be able to cope with that as long as it doesn't rain. Sitting in my office at the moment, looking out at the sun,  I'd happily bottle this and take it with us for the rest of the week...along with the peace and tranquillity I'm enjoying here all alone!

The plan this week will be to post the ongoing story as often as I can, depending on Wi-fi connection, time and creative stamina. Keep checking regularly for updates, particularly early in the morning and late at night.

Right, see you all tomorrow morning for the beginning of the wild and whack adventures of IOW 2019!
