Since converting to an Academy our Local Governing Board constitution comprises 11 people: Six Foundation Governors, One Staff Governor, Two Parent Governors, One Co-opted Governor and the Head Teacher.

Toni Fox- Foundation Governor

As a member of the parish I was asked to become a Foundation Governor and joined the team in Sept 2017. Since retiring, from happy and challenging career in Human Resource Management, I became an advisor at the Citizen Advice Bureau. I have an MA in Employment Law and I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I look forward to settling into the Holy Family team and hope I can make a significant contribution to the success of the school.

Mr Chris Fields-  Foundation Governor (VICE CHAIR)

I decided to became a Governor at Holy Family 11 years ago as I was looking to make a positive contribution to the local community. I am a Chartered Management Accountant and have held various finance roles in industry. I currently work for Gatwick Airport Limited as Head of Financial Control. Being a Governor gives me the chance to use my skills in a new area and I get a great sense of satisfaction knowing that I’m helping to shape the future of the school.

 Mr Steve Tindall- Headteacher

I began my teaching career 30 years ago in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames before being appointed as Deputy Headteacher at St George's College Junior School. I then moved on to be Deputy Headteacher at Cardinal Newman Catholic Primary in Hersham where I worked very closely alongside the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and management of the school. My appointment as Headteacher of Holy Family is a huge privilege and I feel exceptionally fortunate to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team of people. My role within the governing body is to ensure that all members feel empowered and enabled to make a strategic, positive impact to the leadership and management of the school. By leading the teaching & support staff, I am also responsible for ensuring that the common vision of the governors leads ultimately to the highest possible learning experiences and outcomes for all children. As Headteacher, I sit on all governor sub-committees which keeps me nice and busy!

LIZ WALMSLEY - Foundation Governor

MR James HouNsell- FOundation Governor

I am an active member of the community and parish. I became a Foundation Governor in Sept 2017. My sons William and Frederick attend the school.

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and enjoy helping people look after their money. I get a great sense of satisfaction from being a Governor of the school.

Mr Mike Meredith - Foundation Governor

I became a foundation governor 6 years ago through my links with the parish and now my son is at Holy Family.  For work, I run consulting business in London which helps to improve public services (hospitals, government departments, and even schools!).  When I am not working, I do lots of work in the parish (including the children's liturgy programme and work with the Parish Pastoral Council). And if I have any time left, I like playing football with my son and going cycling with my daughter.

I had worked in Education for 43 years before I retired from my post of Headteacher of a Catholic Primary School in Dorset in 2017. I moved to Addlestone to be closer to my grandchildren  in March 2018.

Despite my many years in Education when I retired my enthusiasm for children and their learning has never faded. Every child is unique and  never ceases to amaze me particularly following their progress.

I feel privileged to be a governor at Holy Family. It is a school which combines a nurturing environment and academic challenge to allow both children and staff to reach their optimum potential .

Mrs Julie Rawlinson- Co-opted Governor (SAFEGUARDING GOVERNOR)

I started my education as a very happy pupil here at Holy Family. I spent 18yrs within the Banking Industry, where my career involved everything from the obvious Finance, to HR, Training and Health & Safety. When my children arrived all the skills I had acquired in my career came in very handy in my role as a full time Mum!  I am delighted to say my children have followed in my footsteps, as in 2006 my daughter started here in Reception, followed by my Son in 2009. I immediately became involved in School life by joining our very pro-active PTA. I was invited to join the Governing Body in 2007 as a Foundation Governor. A post I was, and still am extremely proud to uphold. I am part of a great team that work hard together, to uphold and promote the distinctive nature of Catholic Education, whilst striving to maintain the high academic achievements we have here at Holy Family.  I regularly find myself volunteering to help within School which I thoroughly enjoy. It also gives me a greater understanding of how our school works, enabling me to make more informed decisions in

I am a parent governor at Holy Family and I have two children that currently attend Holy Family, Jack and Max and hopefully Maddison will join  soon!  I am a part time book keeper and love helping people with  dilemmas with their accounts, the satisfaction of getting my clients to a better financial situation is a fantastic feeling!

I have always liked to help others and this can keep me very busy as I help out when I can at Meadowcroft Infant school, and I am a community Leader for a blood cancer charity Bloodwise, raising money for them as often as I can.

If I get any spare time I love to go to the gym but my favourite past time is playing playdoh with the kids at home!!

I decided to become Staff Governor for Holy Family following six years of teaching in Key Stage One. I began not only my teaching career at Holy Family but also my undertook my first teaching experience here during my training at St Mary's. I was immediately passionate about being able to work for such a brilliant school and was fortunate enough to complete my NQT year here.

I  taught Key Stage One for six years and am now undertaking a new role, becoming Inclusion Manager at the beginning of academic year 2018-2019. My dedication to improving and enhancing the learning of all children, providing equal opportunity for all means that I am passionate about my role and I look forward to seeing the difference that I can make. As Staff Governor I am able to bring knowledge of the teaching and learning of all pupils within the school, as well as being able to enhance and develop my own understanding of the workings of our school.
