Friday 26th June

Hello Year Two, welcome to another lovely Friday!

For Guided Reading this week, we will look at the next section of The Mousehole Cat, and then it's time to get creative!

Click here to see me reading it, and to find out what your arty challenge is! As ever, there are some comprehension questions below which you can try too. This is great practice for Key Stage Two so try to do some if you can.

For maths this week, I thought you might like to move around a bit and maybe even get out and about! I'd like you to try and do a 3D shape hunt, seeing how many shapes you can spot in every day objects around you. This could be in your house, garden, the park, or somewhere that you like to go for a walk. Maybe you can see a cylinder shaped tree trunk, or some cuboid shaped furniture? You can record your findings on the sheet below, or you could take some photos of what you find.

This afternoon, choose something from the whole school learning page, see if you can do something outside if the weather is still nice!

Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Ferryman
