Good morning Year 6

It’s Friday and the end our first week of the summer term! I hope you have been working hard and are getting to grips with the weekly task list. The days continue to be beautiful so take a minute to look up at the amazing blue sky today!

Maths using school online programme click here Complete lesson 5 calculating missing angles. Remember that you need to click on Week 2 to find this lesson. You don’t need a protractor to complete this activity.

Complete first draft of Queen Bee story if you haven’t done this already. You can get your piece ready for submission either by typing or writing it. 

This piece of writing will need to submitted by email by next Wednesday at the latest. 

Spelling test - ask someone to test you on your spelling words for this week. 

Reading - read some non-fiction today. Find a sunny spot by a window or in the garden. I have sent some links in an email if you need some places to look for non-fiction books. Record your reading in your reading journal.

Spanish – complete one of the tasks from the Home Learning sheet

 This afternoon you have free choice! Choose one activity from the Cooking, Gardening and More section on the Home Learning sheet. Practise a new skill and don’t forget to tell us all about it on the blog!
