Friday 12th February

It’s Friday and the last day of this half term! As you know, we always celebrate your brilliance on a Friday, but especially today, give yourself a great big pat on the back for being absolute superstars!  How amazing you have all been in the weeks since the Christmas break!

On my walk yesterday, I saw a kingfisher! Ive never seen one before, it was absolutely beautiful and reminded me of a couple of entries in our art competition. This will be judged next week, so this is the very last call for entries!

Here is our timetable today -

Early Work – please complete your weekly arithmetic sheet and mark it yourself.

Please click click here to watch Mr Tindall’s assembly at some point this morning if you can.

Maths – I will start by going over the key points of this week’s algebra work with you all.  Then, check your work for this week and finish any White Rose sheets you did not have time to complete. There is also another maths mystery for you to do.THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING SUITCASE  Today’s mystery contains both geography and maths puzzles.

During the English session, we will do this week’s Spelling test of this week’s words.  Then I would like you to complete the PSHE activity ‘Inspirational!’ I will talk to you about this in our session later.

Please make sure you do some Reading read some non-fiction today.

Finally, this afternoon, do try to make sure that you have uploaded your English work, maths work and examples of some of your other work to your one drive folder.

I hope you have a wonderful half term!
