Complaints Procedure

Under the regulations of the Education Reform Act (1988), parents have the right to make representation to the School, the Governing Body, the Local Education Authority and ultimately the Secretary of State, where they feel the School is not meeting the requirements of the Act with particular regard to the National Curriculum, Religious Education and Collective Worship.

The Secretary of State expects that any concerns expressed by parents and others about the School curriculum and related matters will continue to be considered in an informal discussion with the Headteacher and teachers. Where such concerns cannot be resolved informally, a formal complaint may be made in writing to:

The Clerk to the Governing Body
