Good morning happy hump day you lovely people! Wednesday is one of my favourite days.

Let's kick off today with some handwriting practice using your spelling words for this week. 

For our main English tasks for this week we have been using The Magic Box by Kit Wright. You are going to start today by looking at some alternative words and phrases that Kit Wright could have used. Using the resource- Magic Box Alternatives choose words or phrases that you would use to change his poem. Then using the resource What's in the Box? write your own version of his poem. Think about your choices of words and phrases on the basis of content or language features such as alliteration or rhythm. Remember to try and keep the style of Kit Wright by using contrasts and opposites.

Start your maths today with some questions based on fractions. It will be a good recap for you. Your main maths task today is to multiply by 10, 100 and 1000. Click here to watch a video to help you. The resources you need to answer the questions are at the bottom of the page.

This afternoon we are going to do some geography. We are going to look at the oceans around the world. This will develop our geographical knowledge.
