Good morning Year 3!

I hope you've had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend, and have taken the opportunity to develop your understanding of VE day and its importance for us historically.

I'm going to be working on compiling your lockdown challenge today! Exciting! Any last minute photos for the marathon challenge, get them in today!

Monday’s School Reading Book  - Oxford Owl online e-books - please log in with the details we sent you, or create your own log in. Try and choose one which matches your book band / or try with one book band higher. You need to be reading about 90% of the text fluently and understand it, as a guide. Can you write it down in your school reading record?

Read Chapter 4 of The Iron Man. If you have not got a copy of the book, a scanned copy is attached below.

Reading Comprehension as attached below. Chapter 4 - Set of questions differentiated around one text. Work for 30-45 minutes.
