Good Morning, 

I hope you all had a lovely half term. 

Please join me on teams at 8:40 to say good morning and do a short input for our phonics. 

Over the next few weeks in phonics we will be learning about alternative pronunciations for graphemes. Today we will be looking at the 'i' sound. See the attachment below ''i' or I'. After the call, cut out the cards and sound out and blend each sound. Decided if the card has an i sound or and I sound. Place the card in the correct group. When the game has finished you can use your whiteboard and pen, get your parents to say one of the words for you to write on your board. 

In Mathematics we are still on our place value topic an today we will be finding one more and one less of numbers up to 50. Click here to see the video from Mrs Hadley explaining today's work.  You will need to print out worksheets one more and one less, number grid to 50 and challenge cards if you want an additional challenge. 

I will be on teams at 9:30 and 9:45 for today's reading groups. I will send out a new email about this terms groups as lots of you have changed reading group colours.

Today as there were no spellings set  over half term spend some time learning the new spellings; right, bright, light, night, fright, tight, high, I, by, my. 

I have attached the spellings below and they are on Spelling Shed too. 

Today we will be learning about the personal pronoun I, when we use the personal pronoun I we always a capital letter. Please have a go at doing this on the worksheets below.
