SEND
A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints….

At Holy Family we believe a child-centered approach is an integral part in the quality of teaching and learning across the whole curriculum. We are fully committed to offering an inclusive and balanced curriculum that all pupils can participate in.
Our vision of recognising individuality and enabling each other to fulfil our potential through the Gospel values of faith, hope, trust and love is at the heart of our school and our approach to meeting the needs of pupils with SEND. We believe that all children have an equal right to a full and rounded education which will enable them to achieve their full potential - academically; socially; physically; spiritually and emotionally.
All our teachers see themselves as teachers of SEND and consistently follow the ‘assess, plan, do and review’ approach to making sure they can address and respond to the diversity of needs of each individual child.
Please read our full SEND policy to find out more about how we identify, provide for, assess and challenge our children with SEND.
The School is fully compliant with the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act), please see Accessibility Plan listed below.
