Well Being Ambassadors
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors are trained learners who support mental health and wellbeing in our school by promoting positive strategies, reducing stigma, and offering one-to-one peer support. They act as a friendly, approachable point of contact, encouraging others to talk openly about their feelings and access help when needed.
As part of their role they will:
- Promote wellbeing strategies: Share techniques for managing stress and building resilience.
- Reduce stigma: Encourage open conversations about mental health challenges.
- Offer peer support: Provide informal, confidential one-to-one support.
- Signpost to resources: Help others find professional support when needed.
- Organise activities: Lead initiatives like campaigns, drop-in sessions, or awareness days.
- Lead "Feelings Friday": Organise and lead an activity for each class on a Friday morning.
