Dear Parents
I have great pleasure in welcoming you to our school web-site. Information on the site is
designed for the use of current and prospective parents and for the children themselves.
Prospective parents are asked to note that whilst certain information is contained here it
is by no means complete. A complete copy of the school prospectus can be obtained from the
school. If you wish to discuss any aspects of school life or wish to visit us then please
contact me and I shall be only too happy to show you our school in action.
The schools mission statement shown below underpins our ethos. It is a major influence on
our policies and practices and reflects fully the attitudes that prevail within our
establishment.
Most importantly it is our intention that your childs school days spent at The Holy
Family School will be happy, secure and academically stimulating.
Mr M.L. Vassallo
Headteacher.
MISSION STATEMENT
We strive to be a community with God at the very centre, radiating through every aspect of
our lives. Where every child and adult is known, loved and respected by each other.
Where we aim to educate our children in a wide curriculum to the highest standard that our
skills and abilities will allow, enabling them to develop into well balanced, well
educated, caring and devout people.
Where the knowledge and love of God is nurtured and encouraged to develop.
Where prayers and worship are a vital part.
Where everyone works in partnership showing consideration and compassion to one another.
Where every aspect of work within the school, teaching and non teaching illustrates the
Catholic ethos. Where problems are faced and solutions sought with consideration and understanding.
Where we are seen to be part of the parish, involved in sacramental worship and showing
care to members of the Parish Community. |
