Pupil Premium

 

The Pupil Premium is a grant allocated to children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months. This also includes pupils eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure). The Pupil Premium grant is used to support children academically, support costs of trips and clubs, provide emotional support, and provide training to staff. 

Our Aims:

  • All children eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant to make academic in progress in line with their peers.
  • All children eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant will have access to extra curricular activities and educational visits, including residential trips. 
  • All children eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant will have access to the whole curriculum, including academic and emotional support as necessary.
